Xiaomi has already confirmed its release of the Xiaomi Mi4 16GB variant in India.
It is priced at Rs. 19,999 and will be available on Flipkart on Feb. 10 at 2:00pm.
Flipkart has also revealed that it has received more than 250,000 registrations ahead of its flash sale tomorrow. But IB Times reported that there are only 25,000 to 35,000 available units to go on sale.
"Another 2,500 units have been kept aside for privileged patrons who have subscribed to First premium service of Flipkart," IB Times added.
The selected 2,500 first premium subscribers have already received a confirmation e-mail on Feb. 04. The Xiaomi Mi4 16Gb will be added on their carts on Feb. 10, and they will just need to complete the payment transaction.
Meanwhile, as prospective buyers are still clamoring for the larger storage variant, the number one phone manufacturer in China has announced on its official Mi India Facebook page that the Xiaomi Mi4 64GB release date will be on Feb. 24 via Flipkart's flash sale.
Prospective buyers must also note that both storage variants are 3G only devices. Specs wise, the Xiaomi Mi4 remains to be a competitive phone among Androids. It sports a 5-inch Full HD display with a 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution. It houses a powerful processor that runs in a clock speed of 2.5 GHZ quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and a 3GB of RAM. The Mi4 can also be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop as Xiaomi is slowly taking its steps in rolling out the update on its devices.
It also features a decent camera of 13MP Sony Exmor IMX214 on its rear and 8MP Sony Exmor IMX219 front camera for a better selfie snapper.
Furthermore, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G will also be up for grabs alongside with the Xiaomi Mi4 16GB variant on Feb. 10. According to Mi India the entry-level phone supports dual-band support - both TDD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3).
