After months of uncertainty, fans can now rejoice as progressive rock veterans Rush have announced the tour dates and venues for their 40th anniversary tour titled "R40."
The band will be touring across North America, kicking things off in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 8 and wrapping up in Los Angeles on Aug. 1.
According to a press release from the band, they claim that "These shows are not-to-be missed" as "[This] will most likely be their last tour of this magnitude."
The tour commemorates the 40th anniversary of since the joining drummer Neil Peart even though in actuality, happened in 1974.
They also recently released a DVD box set titled "R40" which spans the group's beginnings in 1974 to their last five major tours. Included are rare footage from 1974 and their performance at their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
Tickets for the tour are currently on sale.
