Masashi Kishimoto's 'The Last: Naruto The Movie' Sequel 'Boruto' Plot Could Possible Feature A Love Story Between The Children Of Hinata And Sakura?

"The Last: Naruto The Movie" sequel "Boruto" is one of the most highly anticipated anime in Japan, following the box office success of its prequel.

The follow up movie titled "Boruto: Naruto The Movie," reportedly scheduled for an August release date, is said to feature the life of Sasuke and Hinata's children, Sarada and Boruto.

"I conceived a story in which Bolt and [Sasuke's daughter] Sarada appears. Sasuke and Sakura also appear," Kishimoto revealed according to Anime News Network.

Following the statement fans begin to speculate that "The Last: Naruto The Movie" sequel's plot could involve a possible romance between the two.

While, Boruto is known to have a sister, it was not mentioned if she'll appear in the movie.

In addition, Kishimoto also said that he is working hard in developing the story of the characters even though the manga has ended. He specifically mentioned that he's eyeing on what could Boruto's special fighting technique be.

"Even though the manga ended, I haven't taken a break," he explained.

"I am also thinking about Bolt's [Boruto] lethal technique."

Naruto's voice actor, Junko Takeuchi, meanwhile confirmed upcoming anime movie as well.

"I can't possibly guess what's it about. But I'll enjoy it," she admitted referring to the possible plot details of sequel.

"The Last: Naruto The Movie" reportedly, is currently holding the record for the highest opening sales in the anime franchise. It is expected that the sales will rise once it arrives in U.S. cinemas this month.
