The Reason Behind Kelly Osbourne's Exit From 'Fashion Police' - ‘KUWTK’ Star Khloe Kardashian Might Take Her Spot

Kelly Osborne reportedly left "Fashion Police" over how E! handled the situation when Giuliana Rancic's racist comment about Zendaya's dreadlocks sparked outrage on social media.

"Kelly left not from the [comment] itself, but because of how Giuliana and the network handled it," the source told New York Post.

Another source also claimed that the segment was rehearsed three times noting that she told her co-hosts Zendaya is her friend.

"They did the Zendaya segment three times," the source told Us Weekly.

"Three different takes. On the first two takes, Kelly said 'Guys, we can't say this. Zendaya is a friend of the show.'"

But E! denied this claim and said that there was only one take of Giuliana's comments, but stated that Kelly did let her co-hosts know that Zendaya is her friend.

Meanwhile, a source told Radar that the 30-year-old "Fashion Police" host was forced to leave the show as she was given the option to quit or be fired.

"In reality, she was let go," the source claimed. "Producers had had enough."

After Giuliana's racist comment has been criticized, Kelly also took to Twitter her disapproval of her co-host's comment and threatens to leave the show.

"I DID NOT MAKE THE WEED COMENT. I DO NOT CONDONE RACISM SO AS A RSULT OF THIS IM SERIOULSY QUESTIONING STAYING ON THE SHOW (sic)," she tweeted.

E!'s "Fashion Police" will resume on March 30, but the network has yet to announce Kelly Osbourne's replacement.

US Weekly reports that Khloe Kardashian has been the top pick on Kelly's spot, while "The Real Housewives of Atlanta"star Nene Leakes is also a tough contender.

"She was supposed to do it last time and passed," a source of US Weekly said refering to the "KUWTK" star. "She may consider doing it again but the offer would have to be really high. It's a lot of extra work for her."
