Floyd Mayweather Jr. – Manny Pacquiao Fight News: Pacman Says Experience In Getting Deal Done Was Difficult

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao fight is finally on.

After more than five years of excruciating waiting, fans will finally get to see the two most popular and most accomplished boxer of this generation slug it out on the boxing ring.

Boxing and non-boxing fans alike have been pitting these two for more than half a decade. However, because of so many issues, the two cannot come up with a deal. They only got to iron out their differences reportedly after they accidentally met in an NBA game recently.

Fans had a hard time waiting for this dream match to happen. However, it is not just them who badly wanted the Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao fight to come to life. Even the boxers themselves.

In a telephone interview with Yahoo Sports' Kevin Iole, Manny Pacquiao said he himself find it hard that the fight the whole world has been waiting for is taking too long happen.

"It was difficult to go through that experience," he said when asked about how the highly anticipated fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. was done.

"It was not easy. People were asking me everywhere I went when I would fight this guy. My [children] asked me; everyone did. I was always ready to fight, but it didn't happen."

Although he had a hard time, Manny Pacquiao said he didn't lose faith that fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. will materialize.

"I never lost hope since the beginning. All these years, it was hard, but I believed God would deliver what the people wanted. God is good and I believed He would give the people this fight."

Promotion for the Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao fight will start on March 11 as the two fighters will meet at a news conference in Los Angeles. ESPN reported though that the event will not be made available to the public although fans are still expected to flock the venue for a chance to see the two fighters.
