Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight on May 2 at MGM Grand Arena is the match of all matches.

It is bound to become the most extravagant and richest fight in recent boxing history. This is because the two fighters are the most accomplished of their generation.

They are also the most popular among their peers. While their respective fans see them as the torch bearer of the sport, for Bob Arum, CEO of Top Rank, it is a battle of a villain and a hero.

Arum, who is also the promoter of Pacquiao, told in an interview with Manila Times Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight is a match up between the good and the bad.

"The people love Manny ever since [Manny Pacquiao] for his generosity and for a being a gentleman while Floyd on the other hand, you know is..." Bob Arum said. "Manny is the hero and Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the villain in this fight. Everybody loves Manny."

Just recently, Arum also hit out at Floyd Mayweather Jr's lifestyle while also commending Manny's charity works in his home country the Philippines where he also serves as congressman.

"Floyd loves cars, will probably buy enough cars that satisfy every motor vehicle dealer in Las Vegas," the promoter explained.

"And I know a great part of the money that Manny earns will go to support charities in the Philippines. Cause like I said, the social welfare system in the Philippines is called Manny Pacquiao."

As to who will win in the Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight, he said, of course, the Filipino boxer. He even went on to say that the match will end in a knockout.

"I'm confident that Manny can win convincingly by knockout or by decision with a large margin over Floyd Mayweather Jr." Arum said.
