Over the years, Google's Android OS has undoubtedly dominated mobile platforms, and giant phone manufacturers stem their success to Android.

While Microsoft's acquisition of Nokia brought the Finnish company back on the game with its Microsoft mobile OS.

Microsoft then revamped the Nokia Lumia series which can compete with the mid-range Android phones.

Here is a comparison between the Nokia Lumia 1320 with the HTC Desire 616 to better help consumers rule out which is a better choice regardless of their OS.

Design and Screen

Both phones are clad in a colorful hues of plastic shell, but the Lumia 1320 has a bigger screen of 6-inches IPS LCD ClearBlack display which renders a 720x1280 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 245 ppi.

Whereas, the HTC Desire 616 has the same resolution and a higher pixel density of 294ppi.

Hardware and OS

In terms of their performance, Nokia Lumia 1320 is powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU processor clocked at the speed of 1.7 GHz, coupled with an Adreno 305 GPU, and an on board 8GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD.

In comparison, the HTC Desire 616 has a 64-bit capable octacore processor clocked with 1.4GHz and a Mali-450MP4 GPU. It offers 4GB of internal storage and can be expanded up o 32GB only.

Camera

Camera wise, Nokia Lumia 1320 has a 5MP rear shooter which features LED flash, autofocus. ISO control, digital zoom, and Geo tagging while the HTC Desire 616 has a superior rear camera of 8MP and 2MP on the front.

Battery and Price

The Nokia Lumia 1320 has a 3400mAh battery baked in and 2000 mAh battery on the HTC Desire 616 that lasts up to 14 hours of talk time.

Both phone are available on Amazon with the price tag of $259 on the Lumia 1320 and the HTC Desire 616 price ranges from $240 to $250.
