After a long wait and delays, the "GTA 5" Online Heists update has come to light and started to roll out today.
The update will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 consoles, IB Times reported.
Rockstar has posted on its support page the full patch list of the "GTA 5" title update 1.21 for PS3 and Xbox 360 and 1.07 for PS4 and Xbox One.
"Starting from the Heists Overview, it explains what triggers the Heists, its Setup Missions, the Awards players will garner, how to replay a Heist, the different Adversary Modes and all the new features that are part of the update," according to IB Times.
According to the game developer, Heists are a new type of gameplay that are included on the update that feature a multiplayer co-op mission.
Players can unlock the Heists at rank 12 with high-end apartments and will receive a call from Lester and a visit to his garment factory.
Howevere, it was highlighted on the overview of the game that there's a short delay between each Heists, but Lester will get in touch with the player whenever a Heist is ready or players can replay the Heist strand by calling Lester using the "Request Heist" option.
Furthermore, new vehicles have been added to the in-game vehicle website and will all be immediately available for purchase, and new vehicles will be unlocked for purchase after completion of Heist mission.
There are also 40 new awards which include large cash rewards, t-shirt unlocks, or vehicle modification price reductions, and nine new Heist achievements and trophies.
Aside from the Heists feature, the update also brings changes on the matchmaking options and user's interface. The update may affect next job voting screen which has two pages on the update.
"The first page will display only Jobs of the same type you just finished playing, including a 'Random' option," the publication reported. "For example, if you just finished playing Rooftop Rumble, only Missions will appear on the new first page, and you will have a 'Random Mission' option."
While the second page shows random selections of jobs that allow players to select job types.
