The announcement of the delicate Chris Bosh health status shortly after the NBA All-Star League, rocked the basketball world.

On Feb. 21, the Miami Heat star was ruled out for the season due to a blood clot on one of his lungs. Less than one month after, the 30-year-old forward set his feet again in the American Airlines Arena where he thanked fans and families for their support.

According to reports, Chris Bosh's health status has gotten better and he was already released from the hospital. The All-Star forward is set to resume training next month with the hopes of getting back to competitive play by the off-season.

Standing in the middle of the American Airlines Arena, Bosh thanked fans and families for their support in these trying times.

"First of all, I want to thanks each and everyone of you for all the love, all the support you have given me, and my family," said Chris Bosh who was almost in tears.

"I truly am standing here because of you guys. And although this is not the situation that I wanna be in, I'm happy to be right here where I belong, with you all. So, thanks you for everything and everything that you have done for me, I'm forever grateful for that."

While Chris Bosh's health remains a big problem for the Miami Heat in its playoff push, the Georgia Tech encouraged fans to continue supporting the team.

"So, we need your support in this push for the playoffs," he asked fans. "Every night, we're gonna get up put up our best effort you guys and we hope you do the same in return for us. Thank you and go Heat!"

At the press room, Chris Bosh recalled the moments when he learned that he contracted what could a career-ending injury. Like a true warrior, Bosh said he didn't feel scared.

"It just didn't come as a scary thing at the time," Bosh said. "I had to process a lot of information. All these different things were coming at me. I just kind of settled down. I was thinking more so about basketball at the time, actually. I had to really come to grips with that and hear what the doctors were saying after that."

He revealed that he thought he might not be able to play again but that was erased immediately by his optimism.

"Yeah, for a short period of time," Bosh said. "But I'm a huge fan of positive thinking. That subject did come up. But that was only a possibility. We wanted to make sure we took all the precautions, of course, with the doctors doing the work that they have to do. I knew I was going to play basketball again. It was just something that I had to cope with quickly and then just move on after that, and I was able to do that."
