'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 2 Episode Guide: Will Skye Find Romance With Lincoln Knowing They Are The Same?

In earlier "Agents of SHIELD" season 2 spoiler, Jeph Loeb, executive producer and head of Marvel Television, said new character Lincoln is someone who will play a big role in Skye's transition into an Inhuman.

Lincoln will be played by "The Tomorrow People" alum Luke Mitchell. Loeb said he has an energy and charm that "will make him a character to watch as we continue our season." The Marvel official added that Lincoln is a character added to the show as Skye's true identity unfolds.

But what is the extent of Lincoln's role in the life of Skye? Will they be romantically linked? In an "Agents of SHIELD" season 2 episode guide Chloe Bennet shared to Comic Book Resources, she said there will be a point where Skye and Lincoln will like each other.

"Lincoln is definitely one of the characters who helps Skye adjust with her powers, being an Inhuman himself -- he helps Skye adjust to her new powers in a way that makes her more comfortable with them," she revealed. "And they might kind of like each other maybe at some point."

Skye will feel left out. Now that everyone knows she is different, the way they look at her will change. The last episode of "Agents of SHIELD" season 2 saw the rest of Agent Phil Coulson's team finally learning about the situation of their good friend Skye (Chloe Bennet).

In its first episode since the mid-season break, it was just Fitz who's aware about the former hacker turned SHIELD agent's transformation. He was hated by others for not telling right away and Skye's reaction is to go far away from them. So, it will not be a surprise if Skye finds a friend in Lincoln who she identifies with.

The Marvel show will return next week for "One of Us" episode. Read the full "Agents of SHIELD" season 2 episode guide below:
