"Banshee" has wrapped its third season in the most explosive fashion.

The last episode of the successful season, which had a 100 percent rating in Rotten Tomatoes, featured all sorts of weapon as Lucas Hood (Antony Starr) and Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen) went out to finish their own missions.

There were guns, snipers, knives, bazooka and swords. With the help of Gordon (Rus Blackwell), Hood stormed the facility where Colonel Stowe (Langley Kirkwood) kept his friends.

Kai, on the other hand, settle the score with the Black Beards gang. Although they defeated their respective enemies, it is not over for Hood and Proctor. In "Banshee" season 4, challenges will be heavier.

For Lucas Hood, "Banshee" season 4 will be a lot harder because his partner Job (Hoon Lee) is gone and was kidnapped by a still unknown enemy. Job's kidnapping is basically the cliffhanger of the third season. Right now, nobody knows where the ultimate hacker is.

"Banshee" may be a pulpy action but the road leading to the fourth season, the mysterious disappearance of Job, was inspired by one of the most successful sci-film around, Star Wars' "Empire Strikes Back."

According to series creator Jonathan Tropper, "Banshee" season 4's tone will be somewhat like the "Star Wars" movie.

"We know exactly where he is. I remember I was ten years old when "Empire Strikes Back" came out, and when that movie ended, I was blown away by the fact that they hadn't rescued Han Solo," Tripper said in an interview with HitFix.

"And even though I knew intellectually there would be another movie, as a 10-year-old kid, you're not seeing movies that don't rescue the good guy. And it left me wanting more in the most painful way possible. And when we were planning the end of season 3, we talked about that 'Empire Strikes Back' tone where this story is still unfolding. We're not done telling this story. And, of course, it provides a great trigger to enter season 4 knowing that the one guy that's qualified to find Job is Job. So who the hell is gonna find him now?"
