Earlier reports have it that the “Hannibal” season 3 premiere episode, titled “Antipasto” will take place in Europe with Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Dr. Bedelia du Maurier (Gilian Anderson) posing as couple following the events that took place in the season two finale. They are not just there to run away from their crimes, they are also there to hunt a new victim.

While most news about the "Hanniba" season 3 premiere episode only talk of Europe and Hannibal-Bedelia getaway, series creator Bryan Fuller shared more details about the pilot episode through his Twitter account. He said the show will be in four different time periods.

What are those time periods? Some fans think those are back stories regarding the past of Hannibal Lecter and Bedelia du Maurier, recovery period of Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), or the time before Dr. Lecter became the monster that he is now. Aside from “Hannibal” season 3 premiere episode spoiler, Fuller also shared a photo regarding the next two episodes after "Antipasto."

“Hannibal” season 3 premiere is on June 4. This new season will take fans to a larger world of Hannibal as shown in the books where its characters were based from. The NBC TV series will now touch on the storylines from Thomas Harris novels “Red Dragon” and “Hannibal.” In fact, it has already cast actors for the characters in the book. Richard Armitage will play “Red Dragon” villain Francis Dolarhyde, Nina Arianda as Will's wife Molly Graham, Rutina Wesley as Reba McClane, Dolarhyde's love interest, and Glenn Fleshler as Dr. Cordell Doemling.
