'Arrow' Season 3 Episode Guide: Is [Spoiler] Really Dead? EP's Answer Will Give Fans Hope

CW Network TV series "Arrow" is notorious when it comes to randomly killing of its characters, especially those that endeared to fans.

For "Arrow" season 3 episode guide/recap, the Suicide Squad resurfaced with the mission of saving an American senator after getting kidnapped.

Together with newly weds John Diggle and Lyla, Deadshot (Michael Rowe) and Cupid (Amy Gumenick) journeyed in a suicide mission in the Republic of Kesnia.

Their mission was botched after a huge revelation. Although they were able to save lives, one of them was not able to return. Deadshot deliberately allowed himself to get killed in the explosion.

Deadshot instantly became a fan favorite after that episode, mainly because writers allowed the audience to get to know him more and answer the question why he is like that.

The problem now is that it is the end of his journey. Recent "Arrow" season 3 episode guide does not mention his name.

While it is clear "Arrow" writers want fans to think Deadshot sacrificed himself for Diggle and others, some fans can't help but think he is alive.

Although the show is notorious for killing well-loved characters, it is also known for resurrecting those who Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) killed or sent to prison. In social media site Tumblr, a fan asked executive producer March Guggenheim if Deadshot is indeed dead. His answer did not clarify anything.

User ogteamarrow asked: "I have my doubts Deadshot is actually dead so is there any chance Lyla and Deadshot could be regulars next season?"

Guggenheim answered: "Unfortunately, Deadshot is off the table for the nonce."

Don't expect Deadshot in the next "Arrow" season 3 episode guide but maybe next season? Fans have no other option but to wait.

Arrow will return this week with the episode titled "Public Enemy."
