Another 'Empire' TV Series Cast In Hot Water; Terrence Howard In Row With Ex-Wife Over Spousal Support Obligations

Most of the "Empire" TV series cast must be having the time of their life right now.

With the success of their musical TV series in Fox that ended its first season just a few week ago, Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, and the rest of their co-stars should be feeling heaven right now because of their rising popularity and of course, more paychecks.

But that is hardly the case, at least for the two main stars. Recently, Henson got into the bad light after wrongfully accusing Glendale, California cops for racially profiling her son. Now, it is Terrence Howard who is in hot water but in a completely different case.

The lead "Empire" TV series cast playing Lucious Lyon is in a row with his ex-wife who claims she is being screwed by her husband over spousal support obligations. This was first reported by TMZ.

The gossip website wrote:

"Michelle Ghent claims Terrence has been hiding assets and grossly undervaluing what he makes a month to avoid his spousal support obligations.

TMZ broke the story ... Terrence is required to pay Michelle $5,800 a month in spousal support, but if he makes more than $62,500 a quarter, she gets 21% of the excess. According to her docs, Terrence made $125,000 an episode in Season 1 and he's sure to get a huge raise."

Terrence Howard is the primary "Empire" TV series cast and it makes it automatic for people to assume he is the one earns the most and he can now pay all his financial obligations. However, as claimed by Ghent, her husband is hiding those money from her and Howard now owes him at least $100,000.

"Terrence is using his first ex-wife's business to divert his earnings, making it appear he earns very little. In fact, Terrence claimed as recently as November all he was getting in the way of income was just shy of $6k a month ... money that was paid by the ex-wife's business," TMZ wrote quoting Michelle Ghent.

Terrence Howard is yet to speak on the matter.

The whole "Empire" TV series cast will return next year with the production set to start this September.
