While Selena Gomez was reportedly offended with the jokes made at Comedy Central's Justin Bieber Roast, Jeff Roast revealed that the "Come & Get It" singer actually had something to do with it.
During the stand-up comedian's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he claimed that he actually asked the help of Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend for advice, to which the pop star gladly obliged
"She said, 'Tell Justin the truth, the truth always worked for me,'" Ross admitted during the interview.
However, it seems like her advice back fired as she became the target of the Justin Bieber Roast. The 22-year-old singer-actress was reportedly "furious" after the show.
"Selena is furious that she was targeted so viciously by the comics at the roast - she's even saying that hearing the jokes made her feel like she was the one being roasted and not Justin!" a source of Hollywood Life reported.
She was reportedly so disappointed at Justin Bieber and she could not believe that her ex-boyfriend could allow such mean jokes thrown at her.
"While Selena's not entirely sure why she was the butt of a lot of jokes, she does feel that Justin may have had a hand in allowing the comedians to rip her to shreds with their comments," our source continued.
Fortunately for Selena Gomez her new boyfriend DJ Zedd, reportedly helped her get through to the Justin Bieber Roast. The gossip publication also claimed that the new couple watched the show together via Skype.
"Selena's relieved and glad Zedd was there to make light of the jokes," an alleged insider exclusively told Hollywood Life.
And as for Justin Bieber? the 21-year-old Canadian pop star reportedly did not care about how Selena would feel about the roast.
"The Selena jokes? I mean everyone was going balls to the wall, there was no holding back so it was whatever," Bieber reportedly said of during a press junkett.
