'Star Wars Battlefront 3' Scheduled Release Date Well On Its Way! Launch To Coincide With 'The Force Awakens?' EA Dice Promises Improved Multiplayer Gameplay

The release date of the highly anticipated "Star Wars Battlefront 3" is reportedly right on track.

According to Christian Post gamers would most likely see the game hit the shelves in December when Disney's "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hits theaters.

However, the report was just a mere speculation as there has been no official annoucement about the "Star Wars Battlefront 3" release date yet.

And while fans are patiently waiting for the announcement, EA DICE's game designer Niklas Fergraeus teased gamers on what to expect about the new gaming title as he promised a "great variety" of multiplayer gameplay.

"We have actually made the decision to specifically tailor certain maps to certain game modes, and what we get from that is not only incredibly varied scales, but also gameplay that will allow players to live out some of their most memorable 'Star Wars' battle fantasies," he said in an interview with IGN.

"However, with the talent we have here at DICE, the Frostbite technology at our fingertips, and the fantastic working relationship we have with Lucas, I believe we will deliver a Star Wars experience that excites fans around the world and gives them the chance to play out battles in some of the most iconic locales in the series history."

And since "Star Wars Battlefront 3" is rumored to coincide with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" release date Venture Capital Post added that the new game title based on the movie franchise would explore the sequel. The publication also mentioned how the upcoming EA DICE game is "most expensive" in the history of the franchise.

For more gameplay experience, Expert Reviews claimed that "Star Wars Battlefront 3" would finally allow gamers to use the first or third person shooter using a Battlelog service from "Battlefield 4."

In an interview with Eurogamer, EA's Label boss Patrick Söderlund talked about the game and how the company sees the upcoming game as the best in the franchise.

"This is DICE's interpretation of what Battlefront should be...That's the best description you can have," he explained.

"There are absolutely things in the previous Battlefront games that you'll recognize and remember, but DICE wants to put its own flavor on it. That's the only way we can do it. Hence it's called 'Star Wars: Battlefront,' without a 3 at the end. We want to say it's something new...But again, it's going to be very Star Wars and very cool."
