Gorillaz New Album Well On Its Way? Jamie Hewlett And Damon Albarn Surprise Big Come Back Posted On Instagram

Will Gorillaz finally release a new album after four long years of being in hiatus?

While there has been no official announcement, co-creator of the English virtual band, Jamie Hewlett made its big come back on Instagram, where he release a new face of 2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel for this year.

Will Gorillaz work on their new album spontaneously like what they did with their last album titled, "The Fall," which they released on April of 2011.

During his interview with  Billboard, co-creator Damon Albarn revealed that the album was recorded entirely using his iPad during a tour.

"I literally made it on the road," Albarn said. "I didn't write it before, I didn't prepare it. I just did it day by day as a kind of diary of my experience in America. If I left it until the New Year to release it then the cynics out there would say, 'Oh well, it's been tampered with', but if I put it out now they'd know that I haven't done anything because I've been on tour ever since."

"I would imagine there's some kind of future, but at the moment there's no time for the future - only the present," he said. "Who knows? I'm reluctant to say anything [about Blur], because if I do, it just gets taken out of context and then I'm accused of being a wind-up."

Will Gorillaz create a new album using iPad again? Who knows, but with the latest development fans are hopeful that they could finally work on new tracks again.
