Now that a sequel to the upcoming "Jurassic World" movie is reportedly in talks, will the new hybrid dinosaur known as Indominus Rex still appear in the follow-up film?

In an interview with Empire, director Colin Trevorrow hinted fans with the sequel saying,

"We definitely talked about [sequels] a lot," the director admitted. "We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic, and something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story."

Jurassic World Org on the other hand, said that while a follow up movie maybe happening the development is still at "blue sky."

But will the new hybrid dinosaur called "Indominus Rex" still appear in the "Jurassic World" sequel?

Trailers released for the movie have featured the terrifying dinosaur and its capacity to wipe out everyone in Isla Nubar, making fans question if Chris Pratt's character could indeed defeat Indominus Rex or would he just be able to help people escape from the doomed island and leave the dinosaur on its own, thus a possibility of Indominus Rex to appear in the sequel arise.

Indominus Rex is officially described as the "most fearsome dinosaur ever to be displayed at Jurassic World." It's roar could reach to 140-160db, "the same as 747 taking off and landing," reaching a speed of 50km/h.

The official plot summary to "Jurassic World" reads below:

"22 years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. This new park is owned by the Patel Corporation. Owen, a member of Jurassic World's on-site staff, conducts behavioural research on the Velociraptors. After many years, Jurassic World's attendance rates begin to decline and a new attraction, created to re-spark visitor interest, gravely backfires."

Chris Pratt leads "Jurassic World" cast with Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, BD Wong and Irrfan Khan.

They are joined by Vincent D'Onofrio, Judy Greer, Lauren Lapkus, Brian Tee, Andy Buckley, James DuMont, Courtney James Clark, Omar Sy and Katie McGrath.

"Jurassic World" will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
