Will the Filipino boxer give the undisputed American boxer its first ever defeat?
While the odds are favoring Floyd Mayweather Jr, supporters of Manny Pacquiao believe that his unmatched speed would be the perfect weapon to defeat "Money."
In an interview with Yahoo Sports, the Filipino eight-division boxing champ said that he's confident that he will be able to hand Mayweather his very first loss, citing that he has proven many times his ability to defeat bigger boxers.
"I've been fighting against bigger guys, like Margarito and De La Hoya," Manny said.
"This fight isn't about size, it's about speed," Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach exclaimed.
Furthermore, "Golden Boy" Oscar De La Hoya, who got defeated by Pacquiao in their WBO Welterweight bout, said that his strong punch made him wave the white flag and surrender.
"Let me tell you, Pacquiao can really punch," De La Hoya explained.
However, team Pacquiao has never been too confident about the fight, in fact the camp acknowledges Mayweather Jr's strengths, which would make it really challenging for Pacman to withstand and much more defeat.
"You know, it's a tough fight for Manny, a real tough fight," Roach said. "This isn't going to be easy. We know that. But anyone who says Manny doesn't have a chance is full of it. He's had a great camp. A great camp."
