It's been several months since Camila Cabello and Austin Mahone broke up but some fans of the teen sensations were still hoping for them to get back together. That is, until the "Mmm Yeah" singer recently announced that he was already dating fellow singer Becky G.

"We're dating," he reportedly told MTV in an interview. "It's crazy. I never had, like, a real relationship before, so it's pretty crazy. It feels great being in a relationship with someone that does the same thing you do. We understand each other, we understand what we do."

This revelation made several Fifth Harmony fans angry at the implication that Mahone never really took his relationship with Cabello seriously. They started the hashtag #CamilaDefenseSquad to show their support to their idol.

"D*mn....good to know," Cabello also cryptically tweeted afterwards, which fans speculated was about at the controversial interview.

Do you think Camila Cabello is still not over Austin Mahone?

The "Sledgehammer" singer was also seen crying at the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards last Sunday. Was it because of the recent drama surrounding her and her ex-boyfriend?

According to J-14, her tears weren't of despair but of total fangirl happiness.

Prior to the show, she excitedly tweeted about potentially meeting legendary Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz.

She said she might just "die" if she ever does see the singer at the awards show.

Groupmate Dinah Jane Hansen later posted a Snapchat video of Cabello crying during the Sanz' performance of his new single, "Un Zombie A La Intemperie".

"Alejandro [Sanz] [heart emoji] she's so cute," she captioned the clip.

Meanwhile, her ex-beau is busy hanging out with his new girlfriend at the recording studio in Miami. They're reportedly working on a new song for Mahone's upcoming first full-length album.

Whether there's drama among Camila Cabello, Austin Mahone and Becky G or not, it looks like the "Boss" singer didn't let it get in the way of enjoying Alejandro Sanz' performance.
