Following the huge success of "Underworld Awakening" in the box office an "Underworld 5" movie is reportedly in the works.

While there has been no official announcement yet, Kate Beckinsale's husband and movie producer, Len Wiseman told IGN that there are actually a lot installed for the franchise.

A spin-off movie separate from a movie that includes Kate in it is also in development. This are all in addition to a TV series.

"There's a few things being developed right now and there's some characters that we really like," the 42-year-old writer-producer said of the "Underworld 5" movie.

"There's kind of more of a spin-off of some of the characters like we did with Rise of the Lycans and then another film is also being developed in the works with Kate possibly as well, and then there's a television series as well.

"It's kind of expanding that universe in many ways," he continued.

In addition to Kate Beckinsale, The Hollywood Reporter claimed that "Underworld Awakening" actor Theo James will return to the sequel or perhaps the spin-off in development.

"Sources say there was an option on James because of his work on the previous film, and he'll star opposite two new female characters," THR claimed.

However, in an interview with Digital Spy, the "Insurgent" actor said that he's still pre-occupied with the "Divergent" franchise.

"No, they have something in the works, but my involvement in it is... I think it's going be very difficult to do that with these ['Divergent'] movies, and my other commitments," James hinted his departure from the zombie-themed survival movie franchise.

While "Underworld 5" movie is rumored to be release sometime next year, Wiseman said that nothing is final yet and it's not even decided which of the projects will come out first.

"You tell me I don't know, there's a lot of releases out there that aren't actually true.
