While having one more season for "The Messengers" doesn't seem to be happening, the CW's "iZombie" most likely will be renewed for a season two.
The Rob Thomas-produced series is steadily gaining momentum in viewership ratings, according to TV By The Numbers by Zap2It. In fact, Classicalite thinks the zombie-themed show is a "shoo-in for a second season".
The ratings published by TV Series Finale show that viewer ratings have been consistent for the freshman show. Its seven episodes attracted an average of 1.88 million viewers with a 0.71 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic. The site pointed out that the higher the rating for that demographic, the better the chances of a show to get another season.
With the series' current ratings TV By The Numbers concluded that chances for the CW's "iZombie" to be renewed is definitely high.
Meanwhile, the story starts moving forward in the episode aired last Tuesday night, "Dead Air."
Liv Moore finally figured out where her new beau is getting his brain supply and according to the show's trailer for episode nine, she won't be thrilled about that.
Her boss, Ravi, on the other hand, just put himself in harm's way when the zombie rat that he created, quite literally bit the hand that fed it. Will he turn into a zombie? How long does the transformation happen exactly?
From the teaser video, Ravi would have to wait and see as he decided to monitor himself after being bitten by the zombie rat. If he does turn into a zombie, it would give him enough motivation to continue looking for a cure for zombieism.
On the other hand, Major finally crosses the line with his obsession on the Candy Man. He ended the episode with himself buying a gun, either for protection or to go after the mysterious man is still unclear.
Will Major turn into another member of the undead as well? Will Liv finally reveal her true identity and help Major out with his deadly cause?
