Release Date For 'Tokyo Ghoul' Season 3 Put On Ice! Spin-off Series To Be Launched First

Sorry but there will be no "Toky Ghoul" season 3 release date anytime soon.

Apparently, the spin-off series titled, "Tokyo Ghoul: Jack" will be launched first prior to the highly anticipated season 3 of the original anime series.

According to Anime News Network the spin-off woul most likely going to be released in May of June this year

While, Sui Ishida's anime adaptation to his hit manga series could instead happen in the next year.

And while the showrunners have yet to comment with the said reports, the speculations about the delay of "Toky Ghoul" season 3 release date started to arise when the news about the spin-off came in.

In other news, When-will.net claimed that the manga series sequel titled, "Tokyo Ghoul:re," is going to be adapted into anime, thus speculations arise that it might be what season 3 is all about.

Below is the synopsis to "Tokyo Ghoul: Jack"

"In 'Tokyo Ghoul: Jack,' an incident involving a human-devouring Ghoul occurs in Tokyo's 13th Ward. To seek the truth behind what happened to his friend, the rebellious high school boy Taishi Fura pursues the Ghoul named Lantern with the young ace investigator Kishō Arima. The story follows how the ace investigator Arima and the talented 7th Ward investigator Taishi Fura first met."
