All NBA players' career will end but one thing probably will never die is the debate concerning the best players that graced the world's number one basketball league.

Kobe Bryant - Lebron James comparison has been going on for years. The two arrived in the league in two different era but people still can't help but compare them.

Kobe Bryant lead Los Angeles Lakers to several championships during the tail of 2000s while Lebron won two in the past couple of years while playing for Miami Heat.

Everyone has their take on Kobe Bryant - Lebron James comparison. Some make good argument while others are just riding on the hate bandwagon. But who has the most credible opinion about the matter?

Maybe the players who have played with and against both players. Shaquille O'neal spent eight years with Kobe Bryant in Los Angeles Lakers during late 90s to early 2000s. When they parted ways, the future hall of fame member spent one year with Lebron James. The difference though is he won trophies with Kobe while his stint with King James lead to an early playoff exit.

Shaquill O'neal gave his take on the Kobe Bryant - Lebron James comparison during his appearance at "The Dan Patrick Show." When asked who he will choose between the two, his answer is the one with great killer instinct, meaning Kobe Bryant.

"I played with both of them," Shaq said. "Kobe has that killer instinct. I'll probably have to go with Kobe. That's not a knock against LeBron."

The former NBA center insisted though that his take on the Kobe Bryant - Lebron James comparison is not a knock on the Cleveland Cavaliers star.

When asked if Lebron has that killer instinct, he said yes, adding the four-time MVP is more like Magic Johnson rather than Michael Jordan.

"Yes, he does," Shaq said. "A lot of people try to compare him to Mike [Jordan], when he's more like Magic [Johnson]. When he needs to take over the game, he will. He's really, really smart, very intelligent, he lets the game come to him, and he relies on others. Magic relied on others, it worked out for him. LeBron has relied on others these past five years, it's worked out for him."

"Hopefully it works out for him in the Finals," he added.
