'Da Vinci's Demons' Season 3 Premiere Revealed? Starz TV Series To Debut On August 30 Says Entertainment Website But Here's What's Odd

Jul 03, 2015 08:05 PM EDT | By Rolly Gacelo

When is the "Da Vinci's Demons" Season 3 premiere? Year 2015 is already halfway and yet there are no reports yet about the exact date the show will comeback.

"Da Vinci's Demons" season 2 ended on May 31 last year and fans think it is taking too long.

There is no "Da Vinci's Demons" season 2 premiere date for now, no title for its pilot episode either. However, entertainment website Return Date claimed the show created by David S. Goyer will return on August 30 of this year. This scoop was first reported by Crossmap.

"Whilst there's still nothing official, a website called Return Dates has taken the liberty to add a premier date on their website; August 30, 2015."

The catch here is the reported "Da Vinci's Demons" Season 3 premiere is slated on Sunday. The first two seasons aired on Saturdays.

Is this real? Starz need to address this soon.

What to expect when the show returns?

The show will pick up shortly from where it left off in the second season finale wherein the Ottomans have already forced their way in Italy. When "Da Vinci's Demons" season 3 premiere hits, be prepared because according to Tom Riley who plays the title role, the show will look like a war movie.

Although a big battle is looming, new showrunner John Shiban said this event will bring main characters together. Lucrezia Donati (Laura Haddock), Girolamo Riario (Blake Ritson), Zoroaster (Gregg Chillin), and others may be busy with their personal journeys but the war with Ottoman soldiers will force them to work with each other.

"We're using the Ottoman invasion as a way to bring everybody together and that way, new people will quickly understand what Riario was facing, what Lucrezia's facing because they're all facing one giant event. It's their Pearl Harbor, It's their 9/11...The war begins, and you're meeting all these people in the light of that," said Shiban who used to work on hit TV series "Breaking Bad."
