Peggy is moving to the West Coast but she won't be going by herself. A report said she will be joined by allies Edwin Jarvis and Agent Daniel Sousa, played by actors James D'Arcy and Enver Gjokaj, respectively. Plus, comic book villains may also join the Marvel's "Agent Carter" season 2 cast.
Last week, Entertainment Weekly reported that D'Arcy and Gjokaj signed on to reprise their roles for season 2 of the Hayley Atwell-led show.
Fans may recall that Jarvis is Howard Stark's (Dominic Cooper) butler and helped her in her missions secretly during season one. Though both are now friends, it's still unknown how the two will be involved next season with Jarvis being a Stark employee.
Agent Sousa on the other hand was an SSR Agent working with Peggy. Unlike other agent, he doesn't treat Peggy bad and is actually smitten with the femme fatale. In the first season finale, he musters the courage to ask Peggy out only to be given a rain check. Sousa could be Peggy's "new love" teased by the show's synopsis though it could be someone else as well.
It's not clear whether other actors from the first season will join Marvel's "Agent Carter" season 2 cast. But according to EW, Bridget Regan (Dottie Underwood), Chad Michael Murray (Agent Jack Thompson) and fan favorite Lyndsy Fonseca (Angie Martinelli) are still under negotiation.
As for villains, EP Tara Butters told EW that "fans of the Marvel comic book universe will recognize [next season's] villain" and in fact, there will be more than one. EP Michelle Fazekas added "anybody who knows that will be rewarded."
The showrunners stopped short of revealing who they might be. Nick Tylwalk of Fansided's Bam! Smack! Pow! thinks one of them could be Baron Zemo.
In the comics, Baron Zemo is a title passed on from father to son. Heinrich Zemo, the 12th one to bear the title, was a leading Nazi scientist and a villain to Captain America and the Howling Commandos. His son, Helmut, is set to appear in 2016's "Captain America: Civil War" played by actor Daniel Brühl.
