'Man Of Steel' Star Henry Cavill Signed On To Play Jack Hyde In 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Sequel?

Apparenlty, there are reports claiming that "Man of Steel" star Henry Cavill is joining Dornan and Johnson in "Fifty Shades Of Grey" sequel titled "Fifty Shades Darker."

Movie News Guide reported that  Superman is being eyed to play the role of the Jack Hyde.

For a change, Cavill is going to play a villain in the movie if reported negotiations go smooth.

Jack Hyde is "described as a man with with sensual blues eyes that can pierce your heart."

The Inquisitr added that the production is most likely going to start anytime naming Henry Cavill and Charlize Theron to play the roles of the highly anticipated characters Jack Hyde and Mrs. Robinson.

While the two actors being linked to "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel have yet to comment on their involvement in the project,  Johnson who sat down with El Pais revealed that that "Fifty Shades Darker" is indeed coming along.

"I'm not sure I'm allowed to say, but it's happening and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the cast again and the crew... We had such a wonderful family and I mean, obviously it was a bonding experience to shoot this movie."

Director Sam Taylor-Johnson, who just left the franchise, reportedly chose "Man of Steel" star Henry Cavill to play Christian Grey before Dornan was casted for the male lead role.

The Examiner added that they have different sources confirming the involvement of the "Man of Steel" star in the upcoming sequel.

"Numerous sources have rumors circulating that Cavill might be cast as Anastasia Steele's commanding boss (and sometimes considered an antagonistic "villain"), Jack Hyde," the publication stated. "While difficult to define him as a complete enemy in the books, he does have some devious plans in store for Ana as well as a dark past and some serious history with - and angst towards - the Greys."

"Fifty Shades Darker" will continue the unconventioncal love story of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele following the events of the first movie.

However, reports claim that this time it will involve new characters that could affect the relationship of the two lead characters.

"But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Anastasia cannot resist. They rekindle their searing sexual affair, and Anastasia learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven and demanding Fifty Shades," the summary said.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" movie sequel is set to be released sometime in 2017.
