Tool Expected To Reveal New Album In Their Monster Mash Music Festival 2015 Performance

Jul 31, 2015 11:50 PM EDT | By Sherylyn Toda

While it seems to be taking forever for Tool to release their new album, the American rock band is reportedly just gearing up for it.

Fans have expected that the band is actually going to release the album soon when Tool has posted a cryptic message on their official webpage that stated, "Wait For It..."Consequence Of Sound reported.

However, hopes for a new album release were soon crushed, when it became obvious that the band's cryptic message is actually referring to their first ever 2015 performance happening at Monster Mash Music Festival in October, where big bands including Coheed and Cambria and Primus are also performing in the big Halloween event.

And while Tool has failed to dish out details on their new album's release, fans are expecting that an announcement is going to happen in the Monster Mash Music Festival 2015.

And while fans have grown anxious with Tool's lack information about its new album, guitarist Adam Jones told Yahoo Music that now that the "lawsuit is out of the way," they should expect "great things" from Tool.

"Our greatest strength is jamming and coming up with stuff," Jones assured.

"We're doing that really well now and I'm excited about everything we're working on. Some of it's really heavy, some of it's complex and some is more atmospheric, but it's definitely Tool. I think having this lawsuit out of the way should really speed of the progress of getting the album done."

Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan on the other hand has addressed the growing concern of fans following his hip replacement surgery in an interview with Loud Wire.

"Didn't want to freak anyone out," Maynard said on a post at Puscifer official web page. "Wanted to wait until out of the woods. Years of foot stomping left me with no cushion in my right hip. Full replacement yesterday. Walking today."
