In a report by CBS News, Brad Paisley is set to share his insights and advices to the contestants on Blake Shelton's team as confirmed by the representatives from the network.
The new mentor for "The Voice" Season 9 has had some valuable experiences with singing competitions in the past. CBS News noted that Brad Paisley became a judge on "Rising Star" on ABC last year.
Prior to "The Voice" Season 9, Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton performed "Don't Drink The Water" together during the show's first season.
Brad Paisley is reportedly joining other mentors such as Selena Gomez for Gwen Stefani's team, Missy Elliot for Adam Levine's roster and John Fogerty for Pharrell Williams' talents.
While the network has already confirmed Brad Paisley, other mentors are still waiting for confirmation as of press time.
Blake Shelton to enter a legal battle?
"The Voice" coach Blake Shelton might enter into a legal battle against the magazine that published a story saying Cady Groves was "infatuated" with Shelton, the International Business Times reported.
According to the report, lawyers of "The Voice" Season 9 coach Blake Shelton are threatening to sue In Touch Magazine which published a story on the alleged affair of Blake Shelton with Cady Groves.
The report said the lawyers of "The Voice" Season 9 coach sent a letter to In Touch magazine and demanded that the story be retracted.
"Mr. Shelton did not have a sexual relationship or affair of any nature whatsoever with Ms. Groves," the letter said, as reported.
The magazine then sent a response to the letter, saying, "Not only does In Touch magazine stand by its story but we have another exclusive about Blake and Miranda's divorce in this week's issue."
Cady Groves told In Touch magazine, as reported by Radar Online, "Their marriage was over a long time ago. If people knew what really happened, the world will explode."
