Amir Khan Won't Leave Floyd Mayweather Jr Alone, Says Undefeated Boxer Is Afraid Of Him

Floyd Mayweather Jr - Andre Berto fight is happening in one month.

This boxing match is going to happen whether other boxers who dreamed of squaring off against Pretty Boy admit it or not. Many boxing analysts lobbied for other bigger names but it is the two-time Welterweight champion and the current WBA Welterweight Interim Champion that won Floyd's heart.

Amir Khan is not against the Floyd Mayweather Jr - Andre Berto fight. What he is furious about is the fact that Pretty Boy shunned his challenging for another time. He thinks the undefeated American fighter is afraid of getting his clean record tainted.

"I really believe Mayweather thinks I will beat him," Khan said in an interview with MMAFighting.com.

"And he definitely is scared. That's the reason this fight isn't happening. I really know how to beat him.

"You need to be physically bigger than Floyd Mayweather as well. And I am. I think Floyd knowing all these advantages I have, he's probably thinking, 'I've only got one or two fights left in my career, do I really need a hard fight to finish this sport with?'"

Floyd Mayweather Jr - Andre Berto fight is scheduled on September 12 and according to the camp of Pretty Boy, this will definitely his last.

"Here's a guy who's made well over a half-billion dollars, doing it his way, and he can ride off into the sunset after this," Mayweather Promotioms CEO Leonard Ellerbe said according to a report by Sky Sports.

"That's a fact. This is Floyd's last fight. I'm not trying to sell it that way. This is going to be his last fight. And the fans get a chance to see Floyd in a very, very exciting fight with a guy that we know is coming to fight."

With that said, Khan will be left with no choice but to pick other opponent after Floyd Mayweather Jr - Andre Berto fight.
