Back To YouTube? ‘The Grace Helbig Show' Might Not Get A 2nd Season, Reports Say

Having faced ratings fluctuations and a timeslot that did not match its target audience, the YouTube star's "The Grace Helbig Show" might reportedly not return for a second season. More than two months since the last episode aired, it is still out of circulation.

A report on Enstarz said the YouTube phenomenon's "The Grace Helbig Show" that mostly targeted college students will not likely return on TV.

"By the way things went with the first season getting switched to Sundays and the overall lack of viewers, it doesn't seem likely that 'The Grace Helbig Show' will get a second chance," the report said.

Moreover, the show seemed to have received a negative comment from home network E!'s tweet that YouTube sensation Grace Helbig - who leads the series -- said was "embarrassing."

"Remember that time we gave a YouTube star their own TV show?" E! tweeted as reported on Mashable, in relation to an article about the recently held Teen Choice Awards.

The YouTube sensation Grace Helbig read this tweet about her show and posted on the same social media platform, "This is embarrassing, @eonline."

Considering that the E! remark seemed to be strong and straight, Grace Helbig is having her "game face on."

Because of this Twitter exchange between the YouTube star's "The Grace Helbig Show" and E!, odds that the show is returning for a second season are slim.

The network has reportedly released a statement on its tweet, saying: "E! has been supportive of the YouTube community and the big fans of its stars who are regularly featured on E! News and across our programming. This  particular E! Online story about the Teen Choice Awards was intended to be irreverent, humorous take on the event."

They added, "The corresponding tweet was taken out of context of a larger conversation, and was only meant to point out E!'s series with the incredibly funny and talented Grace Helbig, reinforcing how much the network values YouTube stars."
