While Benedict Cumberbatch was not able to come to Marvel's presentation during the 2015 D23 expo, he had a very special video footage for the fans to enjoy.

"I'm very excited to be taking on Doctor Strange for Marvel," he said in his video footage addressed to Marvel's "Doctor Strange" fans, Screen Rant reported.

Additionally, the 39-year-old English hunk actor also teased fans of the movie's plot and its involvement with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"He's an extraordinary character and brings in a whole other dimension... hmmm... MULTIPLE dimensions to the Marvel universe."

And while Cumberbatch has been really excited with the upcoming "Doctor Strange" movie, Variety exclusively reported that "Hannibal" star Mads Mikkelsen is already in talks to play the villain in the upcoming Marvel movie.

"'Hannibal' star Mads Mikkelsen is in early talks to play one of the villains in Marvel's 'Doctor Strange' opposite Benedict Cumberbatch, Variety has learned exclusively. While sources say no offer has been delivered, one is expected shortly. Marvel had no comment on Mikkelsen's involvement."

If everything goes into plan, Mikkelsen will join the cast including Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Ejiofor will reportedly play the role of Baron Modo while Tilda Swinton is reportedly going to play Doctor Strange's mentor.

"The actress is negotiations to portray the Ancient One, the Tibetan mystic who is a mentor to Dr. Strange," the publication revealed.

Benedict Cumberbatch on the other hand is reportedly preparing physically for "Doctor Strange."

Just like Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt, Cumberbatch is said to be "wolfing double the daily amount of calories and spending hours with a personal trainer," according to The Sun.

Adding, "Dr Strange was always muscly in the cartoons so Benedict has to look the part when they start filming in the autumn.

"Skinny Sherlock Holmes will be the last thing anyone thinks about."

"Doctor Strange" is scheduled to hit the cinemas on Nov. 4, 2016.
