Sony Xperia Z5 Features A Whopping 23MP Camera? Press Images Outed Before IFA 2015

The Sony Xperia Z5 features a 23MP camera, reports claim.

According to GSM Arena, Sony Xperia Z5's whopping camera is paired with 1/2.3" Exmor RS sensor. Thus, supports 4K recording and HDR features.

Sony also hinted on Twitter that the company's upcoming flagship devices will be a "smartphone with greater focus" like the Sony Xperia M5.

Previously, it was accidentally leaked by Sony's Jordanian page the existence of Sony Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and Z5 Premium which will feature a 4K display- the first on mobile devices, Phandroid reported.

While USB-C Type connector has been the new trend on flagship devices, Sony opted a micro-USB on the Xperia Z5 series, revealed by ViziLeaks on Twitter.

The upcoming Sony Xperia Z5 was tipped to adapt Sony's OmniBalance design and will be available in three color variants of white, gold and a tint of turquoise. A slew of images from Xperia Mobile blog confirm a fingerprint sensor integrated on its power button.

Specs-wise, it will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor paired with a 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM capacity. As for its display, it will come in a 5.2inch on the Compact version, and the Xperia Z5 will be 0.3inch larger. Both with a Quad HD display resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, rumors suggest.

Yibada added that it will feature two internal storage of 16GB and 32GB and support up to 128GB microSD external storage.

Reportedly, Sony has sent out its invites for its event that will be held at 4:15 p.m. local time in Berlin on September 02 at the IFA 2015 where the Sony Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and Z5 Premium is expected to be unveiled, IB Times reported.
