Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have always been linked to each other, but it seems that the two have finally moved on from each other.
During an interview with radio host Elvis Duran, the 21-year singer revealed the changes he's doing to become a better man.
"I just want to be around people who I feel are supporting me, uplifting me, and making sure I'm the best version of myself because there are so many people in this industry who just want to keep seeing me fall," he said as reported by Us Weekly.
The former YouTube sensation also explained that change has to come from within.
"It has to be on you. You have to make the conscious effort, because for me, so many times it was good people coming in my life and tugging at me, but I wasn't ready," the Canadian pop star explained.
Justin Bieber may be referring to Selena Gomez who has reportedly tried to change him several times but unfortunately failed.
The "Baby" hitmaker also opened up about how difficult it is for him to trust people again.
"I've trusted people who I probably shouldn't have trusted before and they've hurt my heart," he confessed. "I'm a pretty sensitive guy, so I'll lay it all on the line, and they'll kind of pull it. So now I'm figuring out there's certain people I can't do that with."
Despite the heartaches, Justin Bieber revealed that he's in love but it's not with Selena Gomez.
"Yes. I am in love...Her name is Esther, she's my little puppy!" the singer teased. "She's adorable. She's a silky terrier. She makes me smile."
His ex-girlfriend also admitted that she loves another guy. During an interview with Key 3 Radio, the 23-year-old songstress shared her thoughts about Zayn Malik following her on Twitter.
"I know Zayn so it's almost like if he would ever want to reach out, he knows that he could," Selena said.
The "Heart Wants What It Wants" hitmaker also showed her support for the British singer who decided to leave his group One Direction.
"I think that's so exciting for him to go and figure out what he wants to do, but I don't know what that is," she said. "I think it'll be pretty exciting but, yes, I love him, he's awesome."
Based on the interviews, it seems that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have moved on from each other and are both happy being single.
