The Egg and I Opens 84th Restaurant; Training Day Proceeds Go to Children's Wish Fund

Breakfast and lunch specialty restaurant company The Egg and I is set to open its 84th restaurant in Indiana on Aug. 19, according to restaurantreview.com.

The new Carmel, IN restaurant will be located at 2271 Pointe Parkway in Suite 150, to the south of the Merchant Square Mall on 116th Street and Keystone Way the Restaurant Review reported.

"The opening of our 84th restaurant is a significant accomplishment for all of us at The Egg & I Restaurants. I want to thank our entire team for their dedication and tireless efforts to ensure we deliver an exceptional guest experience every day in every restaurant," E and I Holding, Inc. chairman and chief executive officer Bill Baumhauer told the Restaurant Review. "We are excited to be opening a new restaurant bringing our award-winning breakfast and lunch entrees to the Carmel community."

One hundred percent of all proceeds from the restaurant's training day on Sunday will be given to the Indiana Children's Wish Fund the Review reported.

"We are all very excited about this event to support Indiana Children's Wish Fund and about our new restaurant opening. The Carmel community has already welcomed us with open arms and we can't wait to become more involved in our new community and make new friends," store general manager Ashley Ross told the Restaurant Review. "We are also very pleased our restaurant is creating 30 new jobs in Carmel."

Indiana Children's Wish Fund Executive Director Terry Ceasar-Hudson told the Restaurant Review, the organization is looking forward to being a part of the festivities.

"Indiana Children's Wish Fund is excited to be part of the new opening of The Egg & I," she said. "Through the generosity of partners like The Egg & I, we are able to help children's dreams come true and give them hope for their future."
