While fans wait for the arrival of "Game of Thrones" season 6, a number of speculations involving the characters fate are growing rampant.

And one of the most rumored theory involves Jon Snow's death.

While some have accepted the fate of one of the most beloved character in the entire series, some are cooking up a theory that Snow is not really dead and would instead come back to life in season 6.

However, main stay Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, dropped the bomb on so far the biggest theory in "Game of Thrones."

In her interview with Christian O'Connell's Absolute Radio breakfast show as reported by Daily Mail, the 18-year-old "Game of Thrones" star without hesitation said that Jon Snow is dead and he is not coming back.

"All the time people are asking me if Jon Snow is alive and the answer is no! He's dead! I promise," she revealed. "I think you're in denial about it for a long time when you see the death of a big character but I can't help but think it makes for such a great storyline!"

"It keeps you coming back for more. My favourite character was Ygritte. But then she died!"

Maisie Williams' statement was contrary to leaked photos where Kit Harington's Jon Snow was seen filming a scene dressed in Stark regalia.

"Having ditched his blacks, the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, was standing tall in Stark clothes with his sword on his hip as they filmed on the remote Northern Ireland hilltop," Daily Mail revealed. "He wore his long locks in his signature man bun and appeared to be deep in conversation as they gathered around several expensive-looking pieces of camera equipment."

And while "Game of Thrones" star is confident that Jon Snow is dead, Kit Harington himself has fueled the speculations that he is going to return in "Game of Thrones," Vanity Fair reported.

"Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over," he said. One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects."
