‘Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void’ Prologue Missions Goes Free, Comic Book To Be Released Oct. 20

"Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void" prologue missions goes free for all, while comic book is set to be released Oct. 20.

Bilzzard has recently rolled out "Starcraft 2" Patch 3.0 in preparation for the "Legacy of the Void" expansion wherein it features "Whispers of Oblivion, the free three mission prologue featuring Zeratul," IGN reported.

"Three new campaign missions that were previously only available in the Legacy of the Void Beta are now available to all players," the patch note stated.

Along with the prologue missions, "Starcraft 2"Patch 3.0 "revamped" the games UI as "all major navigation has been moved to the top of the screen, including the Party Panel and Profile," "custom Games have been moved under Multiplayer," and "Archon Mode is now available in Custom Games on official Blizzard-authored maps."

Also it features incremental changes on "Starcraft 2" gameplay, and brings bug fixes. (You may see the full patch note here.)

IGN added that the Protoss leader Artanis is set to arrive on Heroes of the Storm on October 27 and all "Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void" will be granted access to Artanis in HotS, while players who pre-ordered the game may access the character between October 20-27.

Meanwhile, in a separate report from IGN reveals
"Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void" comic book which features Protoss leader Artanis will be released on Oct. 20.

 "The free eight-page story, by writers Matt Burns and James Waugh and artists Edouard Guiton and Emanuele Tenderini, will be released on October 20 and will help lead into the Legacy of the Void expansion pack for Starcraft II (which hits November 10),"IGN wrote.

"Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void" expansion is available in three editions: Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and a retail-exclusive Collector's Edition which can be pre-ordered for Windows and Mac platforms.
