A lot has been said about the return of Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) whose effects as the main villain of the first season still resonates to fans.

He's not the only formidable villain set to return. "The Flash" season 2 spoiler revealed a fan favorite rogue is also set to terrorize Central City.

Gorilla Grodd who appeared for multiple episodes last season is set to return this season. He disappeared last season after a battle under the tunnel with Barry Allen (Grant Gustin).

It was a swift appearance for the abnormal ape reason why it is understandable fans want more of him.

"After a huge build-up last season for a single full-episode appearance, iconic Flash villain Gorilla Grodd will make his way back to The Flash during Season Two," wrote Comicbook.com which was present on the set of the CW Network TV series.

"Grodd, for those who didn't watch or don't remember, is a hyperintelligent gorilla with abnormal strength and reflexes. In the comics, he got his powers from meteorite exposure, along with another gorilla named Solovar, who is king of a whole culture of superintelligent gorillas. In the TV show, he has enhanced strength and mental powers as a result of being near the particle accelerator when it exploded."

Grodd's arrival will mean tougher times for STAR Labs people. "The Flash" season 2 spoilers revealed this season's big bad is Zoom from Earth-2.

It is also yet to be revealed if the Earth-2 version of Harrison Wells in this week's episode is an ally or enemy. What Grant Gustin teased is that this doppelganger of his former mentor is 'a douchebag.'

"Barry is wanting to trust him...and in a way is quicker to trust him than he was to trust Jay [Garrick]," Gustin told TV Line. "He's less of a bad guy and more of a douchebag."

The show will return next week for the episode "The Fury of Firestorm." Read "The Flash" season 2 episode guide below.

"Barry and the team look for another Firestorm match for Dr. Stein (Victor Garber). When the team meets Jefferson "Jax" Jackson (guest star Franz Drameh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) has her reservations about whether Jax is the right match for Dr. Stein. Iris (Candice Patton) surprises Joe (Jesse L. Martin) while Barry and Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) grow closer."
