Trade In Your Old Phone And T-Mobile Will Lease You A Samsung Galaxy S6

T-Mobile offered its customers who signed up for the "Uncarrier's JUMP On Demand" program to trade-in their old phones to try the Samsung Galaxy S6.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 32GB was available from Oct. 22 to 25 for $0 down and $0 per month, if the customer trades in an eligible device.

The list of devices includes iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, according to Digital Trend.

On the other hand, Phone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One M8, HTC One M9, LG G3, or LG G4 owners may also trade in their devices for Uncarrier's $0 down and $15 per month, while customers who won't trade an old phone will pay $24 per month.

As part of the deal, T-Mobile also gave away a free Samsung Galaxy Tab A from its "Tablet On Us" program for eligible "Uncarrier's JUMP On Demand" subscribers paired with 4G LTE data plan.

However, subscribers of the program must note that T-Mobile is only leasing the phone. In the event that they wish to cancel their deal within the 18-month period, they must return the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A or pay for the two devices to keep it, Latino Post added.

T-Mobile is also reportedly testing Android Marshmallo 6.0 OS on the Samsung Galaxy S6 which will incorporate its own software build with Google's OS.

According to VC Post, T-Mobile will conduct the lab testing in November to "evaluate its performance" followed by its official release date " as per carrier's direction and device location."

The Android Marshmallow 6.0 Update is expected to roll out to T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S6 with model number SM-G920T which received complete Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
