‘Supernatural’ Season 11 Spoilers: The Boys Plan To Kill Amara; Will Metatron Help? [VIDEO]

Dean met the darkness (or Amara) right after she was freed and even thanked him for doing so.

Now that the Winchesters have an inkling of the mysterious entity's power, could they kill her? Check out more "Supernatural" season 11 spoilers below!

In the promo video released by the CW, Sam and Dean decides on a totally simple plan to get rid of the Darkness: stride right into Crowley's lair and kill Amara.

According to Christian Today, however, that plan doesn't seem to sit well with the younger Winchester.

Last episode, they finally figured out that the girl they're hunting was growing at an alarmingly fast rate. She's also sucking the souls of people around her, leaving them with no light at all inside them.

On the other hand, the Darkness already promised Dean that she will be protecting him. From whom or what that is exactly is still unknown.

"It's not like a voodoo doll or anything like that," Jensen Ackles, who plays the elder Winchester, previously shared "Supernatural" season 11 spoilers. "We will see... what exactly that relationship is. I don't think that he knows what to make of it. What it all means and how it's all going to tie into his destiny and his future and what that means for the brothers, he's very nervous about."

Such a dangerous plan would of course warrant some hesitancy in Sam, since he already tried living with no soul a couple of seasons back.

They need all the help they can get and they have to start asking someone who might just understand who or what the Darkness is.

"Castiel (Misha Collins) seeks out Metatron's (guest star Curtis Armstrong) help to stop the Darkness," the synopsis released by TV Guide for "Our Little World" revealed. "However, Metatron is pretty happy with his new life as a freelance videographer for the local news and isn't inclined to help the Winchesters (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) or Castiel."

It looks like Crowley will also need him, when his new ward starts acting up as Amara becomes a teenager.
