‘Chronicles Of Narnia 4’ To Recast Eustace? Will The Pevensies Return For ‘Silver Chair?’

Eustace Clarence, the Pevensies' previously annoying cousin will be a crucial character in the upcoming "Chronicles Of Narnia 4" movie.

Fans of the film franchise grew to like Will Poulter in "Voyage Of The Dawn Treader" but according to rumors, he's apparently not suitable enough to reprise the role.

Narniafans.com recently reported that the production company will have to look for another actor to play the important part of Eustace Clarence.

While Poulter fit the role in the previous film, he has grown five years older and a foot taller since the last film. Reprising his role would not match the story unless a narrative change is made for "Chronicles Of Narnia 4"

"It's the unfortunate realities of a film series that is live action, that has very long gaps between each film produced," the report said, adding that no news for a new Eustace Clarence has been reported yet.

Screen Rant previously pointed out this same problem last June, noting that Poulter already made a name for herself in other commercially successful films like "We're The Millers" and "The Maze Runner."

Aside from Eustace, Disney will also have to look for the perfect girl to play his friend, Jill Pole.

In CS Lewis' book series, the Pevensies' cousin, who was previously washed into Narnia with Lucy and Edmund in "Voyage Of The Dawn Treader," will be coming back to the magical world. This time, however, he won't be going with his cousins. Instead, he'll be bringing his friend along.

Following the written series, there won't be a mention of the Pevensie kids until the last book, "The Last Battle."

In Narnia, they are tasked by Aslan to look for King Caspian's missing son. Although it's only been less than a year for Eustace in the real world, in Narnia, decades have already passed.

"Life Of Pi" screenwriter David Magee was tasked to bring CS Lewis' tale to life. Narniaweb.com previously reported that he had already finished writing the script for "Chronicles Of Narnia 4" but the site promptly corrected the misconception. Apparently, the Twitter account wasn't the real Magee's own profile.
