'Arrow' Season 4 Episode 6 Postmortem: Time Traveling Hero To Fix Sarah Lance?

Nov 12, 2015 08:26 PM EST | By Rolly Gacelo

Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) may have gotten her soul back through the help of John Constantine (Matt Ryan) but in "Arrow" season 4 episode 6 titled "Lost Souls", it is clear she is not yet fully healed.

The blood lust is still there for the bad-ass fighter and she knows about it. And so, at the end of the episode, she decided to leave Starling City and be on her own and find a purpose. In her time away from Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and company, she will meet a man who will offer her a chance to find what she's looking for. This man is the kind of man she never encountered before.

"Sara is looking for a purpose," Lotz told Entertainment Weekly in an interview to recap her character's decision in "Arrow" season 4 episode 6.

"She's been trying to stay away from everyone and everything, but it's like, then why are you living life if it's not for relationships with people? What's the purpose? Sara is looking for a purpose, and that's what Rip Hunter [Arthur Darvill] offers her."

Rip Hunter is part of the growing Arrowverse. Darvill is one of the leads of "Legends of Tomorrow" cast which is comprised mostly of characters from "Arrow" and another spun off series "The Flash."

This is not the first time Sarah will be away from her friends and family and Lotz thinks it is one of the reasons why her sister Laurel (Katie Cassidy) won't find it that hard to see her go.

"That's one of those things. She's a wanderer, she's a little bit of a gypsy. She has that in her soul where she never quite feels at home. That keeps driving her away. Hopefully they know her well enough that they would be accepting of it."

Team Arrow will now move on from Sarah but another familiar face to one of their members resurfaces in the next episode titled "Brotherhood." Read "Arrow" season 4 episode guide below.

"Team Green Arrow's ongoing battle with Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) is complicated by a shocking revelation. Thea's (Willa Holland) bloodlust returns and she loses control in front of Alex (guest star Parker Young)."
