NBA Trade Rumor: Miami Heat Is Not Yet Done Dealing; Guess; Who's Next To Be Shipped

Nov 13, 2015 09:32 PM EST | By Rolly Gacelo

Miami Heat may have part ways with Mario Chalmers but they are not yet done shipping players. Recent NBA trade rumors revealed veteran Chris Andersen could be next.

"The Heat has traded veteran point guard Mario Chalmers to the Memphis Grizzlies, but according to twitter post from Ethan Skolnick of the Miami Herald, the team are not done shopping players yet and could probably shop the "Bird Man" this season," Yibada wrote about the recent NBA trade rumor involving Heat.

If ever this pushes through, Miami Heat will be left with only Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Udonis Haslem from the core group that brought them two straight championships. Norris Cole is now with New Orleans Pelicans, Ray Allen has semi-retired, Chalmers is now with Memphis while Lebron James went back to his first team Cleveland Cavaliers.

Miami Heat currently features around three to four serviceable forwards in the line up. Bosh is healthy again while Josh McRoberts is doing great as a substitute. Coach Erik Spoelstra also has Amare Stoudemire at his disposal for the no. 4 spot. Chris Andersen has only played two games so far this season and averages 1.5 points in 6.5 minutes of action.

Early NBA trade rumors regarding Chris Andersen was first reported back in September.

"The Miami Heat have shopped a Mario Chalmers trade along with Chris Andersen all offseason and teams like the LA Lakers, Boston Celtics, Portland Trail Blazers, Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, New York Knicks and Magic could consider making moves heading into the season," Sports World Reporter wrote early in September.

Spoelstra commented on such NBA trade rumor saying the team will do what is needed to strengthen the team.

"Our owner and our president are committed to doing whatever it takes to win in this league. Whatever gives us the best chance to attack those expectations, we're going to do it," the two-time NBA champion coach said.

"We know what they can do, versus the unknown, and we also care about them. I care about Rio. I've coached Rio for eight years. You develop a relationship with him. I care about Chris. We were all instrumental in bringing him here, and that was for a reason. They understand. They're pros. They know we care about them and they know it's a business."
