"Orange is the New Black" star Ruby Rose and actor Peter Stormare are joining Keanu Reeves in "John Wick 2," which has started filming in New York and will soon move to Rome.

The 29-year old Australian star Ruby Rose recently took to Instagram to announce that she is on board for "John Wick 2." She posted an image of the report announcing the recent casting with the hashtag, #johnwick . Ruby Rose has also been filming her scenes in Cape Town for another upcoming action film, "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," where she plays the role of Abigail.

While Ruby Rose's role for "John Wick 2" is still under the wraps, Venture Capital Post, in its report, speculates that the actress will be playing the role of a female crime lord, who will be the boss of Common, who was previously casted as the head of security for the film and will be the chief villain.

Swedish actor Peter Stormare, on the other hand, is known for his notable bad guy characters. For "John Wick 2," however, Venture Capital Post thinks the actor will play ally for Keanu Reeves' John Wick, just like Willem Dafoe who took the role of an assassin and ally of John Wick.

Maxim previously reported that the sequel to "John Wick" has already started filming in New York and is moving to Rome in the New Year. Directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch are back to helm the sequel. Also returning are actors Riccardo Scamarcio, Brodet Moynahan, John Leguizamo, Thomas Sadowski, Ian McShane as Winston and Lance Reddick as Charon, being the renowned owners of the Continental.

"John Wick" became a surprise blockbuster movie that had grossed $130.9 million worldwide. The first film centered on the titular character, who having gotten out of retirement, sought vengeance from a group of gangsters who took everything from him.
