NBA Trade Rumor: Looks Like Every Player In Chicago Bulls Are Expendable

Nov 19, 2015 01:37 AM EST | By Rolly Gacelo

First Derrick Rose, now Joakim Noah. NBA trade rumors just won't give up on the Chicago Bulls.

Bulls has recovered from their bad start as they are now second in the Eastern Conference with 7-3 win-loss card. However, that seems to be not enough for some fans. Bulls are playing great as a team but they want more from each player, especially from center Joakim Noah.

Recent NBA trade rumors claim coach Fred Hoiberg's squad is looking to trade Noah because of his declining performance.

"Noah is getting older and losing that energy he used to always play with. He also doesn't seem to fit into the offensive direction the Bulls are moving in. The Bulls could trade him while he still has some value around the league," a Bulls dedicated blog called Pippen Ain't Easy wrote.

Another blog called All About Rookie also suggests that trading Noah to Boston Celtics will make sense for Chicago Bulls. It said "they could offer the Minnesota Timberwolves 2016 1st round pick in exchange for Noah, as the Celtics have that pick in their inventory. Some would argue the T-Wolves 2016 pick is too valuable for Noah, but if the Celtics want to take the gamble that they can play Noah into form, then it could very well prove to be worth it."

Noah, who was drafted by Bulls in 2007, has been one of the team's key pieces in the past five years. Although he puts up solid numbers, that is still not enough since they are yet to win a championship.

This season is the worse in his career though as he currently averages 3.1 points per game this season, the lowest in his career, and 8.2 rebounds per game.

Chicago Bulls' frontline are not that young anymore. It is currently composed of Noah, Pau Gasol, and Taj Gibson. If ever they decided to go for a trade, they might look for someone who is younger or someone who can shoot from three-point line to complement attacking guards like Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose.
