Following its amazing box office success, "Jurassic World 2" is confirmed to have a sequel.

And while everything is reportedly all set for the next installment of the hit dinosaur-themed movie franchise, there are reports that some of the original cast from the first film, "Jurassic Park," are going to return to  "Jurassic World" sequel.

Whie it's most likely not going to happen, Bryce Dallas Howard, who played the role of Claire Dearing, is excited with the idea.

In an interview with IGN, the 34-year-old "Spider-Man 3" actress talked about her knowledge of the sequel.

"I could see versions of the film where a lot of the characters come back, and just as a fan of the franchise, I would be totally stoked on that. It's so cool BD Wong was in this movie," she said.

According to Dallas Howard, she it would be ecstatic to see original cast members joining the new cast in "Jurassic World" sequel.

"Like any person who was a fan of the first film, I get such a rush at the possibility of characters coming back," she added.

But for director and now screenwriter Colin Trevorrow, no original cast will return in the "Jurassic World" sequel.

"There never was plans to bring back any of the original trio," he said according to Vine Report."

"I never saw a draft in which they were included, and I think I looked at every iteration at least once."

He explained that Steven Spielberg's idea was to bring a new version of the classic film to the next generation.

Elsewhere, there are reports that "Jurassic World" sequel will definitely feature new dinosaurs as the film goes open source.

Trevorrow revealed to Movie Pilot that the dinosaurs will no longer be contained in Isla Nublar as the title suggest.

"When we look at various technologies, they go open source at some point, and they proliferate - and I think of a world... a Jurassic World," Trevorrow explained of his plans.

"I changed the title for a reason. It's not just the name of a theme park, where we coexist with these animals in the way that we do now with other animals in the planet. Don't go into the jungle! There's raptors in there! And so there are all kinds of interests who have the ability to make these animals for various needs and purposes. There is potential there."

"Jurassic World" sequel release date is set on June 22, 2018.
