Class Act! Holly Holm Reveals What She Told Ronda Rousey After Knocking Her Out

The impact of Holly Holm vs Ronda Rousey fight in UFC 193 still lingers.

The fight, described by UFC president Dana White as the biggest upset in sports' history, saw undefeated and favorite Rousey sleep in the second round after receiving a knock on the face from eventual winner Holm.

As soon as the match was over, talks of Holly Holm vs Ronda Rousey fight rematch were already prevalent. What was lost in these discussions is how classy the 34-year old winner was to his opponent despite the commotion she and Rousey got into during the weigh in.

Holm was spotted whispering something to the dumbfounded Rousey when the latter finally stood up after seconds being lost to nothingness.

"I just said, 'You know I really admire you for being such a great, dominant champion,'" Holm said during guesting on Larry King's show on Thursday. "'None of us would be here without you, so I appreciate you.'"

Holly Holm vs Ronda Rousey fight was filled with tension even during the promotion. When they both got in the octagon, they did not even do the mandatory touch gloves, a signal that says they really wanted to get it on.

When asked by Larry King if she hates Rousey, she just said all the emotions that were spilled were just part of the sport.

"No, it's a high-emotion sport," Holm said.

"I think she's done great for the sport, because she's so passionate about what she does and carries this confidence about her. Everybody has their own ways of dealing with their emotions in the sport."

Holm, 34, said she is willing to give Rousey for revenge and the realization of that depends largely on the 28-year old.

"I think that, as far as Ronda with the rematch, I feel like for her -- do what you want do do," she told Inside MMA.

"If you're passionate about it and want to get back and avenge that loss, then great. If you want to focus on other things, great. I'm supportive of any fighter kind of doing what they're passionate about."
