Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are taking their relationship to another level as the couple announced their New Year's concert in The Cromwell in Drai's Nightclub at Las Vegas: the announcement coming almost coming at the same time when reports surface about Minaj's ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels planning to file a lawsuit against the "Anaconda" singer.

Safaree Samuels, in a report published by TMZ, is said to be asking for compensation from Nicki Minaj for his contribution in the rapper's hugely successful albums-"The Pink Print," "Pink Friday," and "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded."

"Safaree also wants a piece of the pie from some of Nicki's biggest singles, including 'Only' featuring Chris Brown, Drake and Lil Wayne, 'Flawless (Remix)' with Beyonce and 'Feeling Myself' with Bey," TMZ wrote.

According to Inquistr, Safaree Samuels has evidences to prove that he was involved in the creation of Nicki Minaj's most successful projects, which include a video of him and Minaj working together in the studio, and voice memos and video footages of Nicki Minaj in various studio sessions.

Safaree Samuels took his ghostwriting claims as far as making it a subject in his "Lifeline" diss track where he lashed out on Nicki Minaj with the lyrics that goes: "My bars on 'The Pinkprint,' no one'll ever match."

Minaj, on the other hand, took aim at his ex-boyfriend in her current stop at Toronto for "The Pinkprint" tour, E! News reports. During the concert, the rapper told her fans that Safaree Samuels "don't have the heart, or the mind frame, or the mother---er intellect" to write her raps.

And despite Safaree Samuels' reported lawsuit, nothing can't stop Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill in taking their romance to the stage as the couple is set to hold a New York concert.

The concert announcement published in Anti Music reads: "Minaj and Philly rapper will share the stage for an epic one-night-only performance. The event will take place on a rooftop venue complete with music, fireworks, views of the iconic Las Vegas Strip and a lot of champagne. Tickets cost $150, but thw price is subject to change. They are on sale now here."
