Fans Compare Safaree Samuels And Meek Mill After Nicki Minaj’s Ex Posts Boxer Brief Selfie

Dec 01, 2015 09:37 AM EST | By Romeo Vasquez

Safaree Samuels, Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend, posted in Instagram on Sunday an image of him and his toned body while wearing a pair of boxer briefs that had the fans comparing him to the "Anaconda" rapper's current lover, Meek Mill.

The NSFW photo, however, was later removed after fans commented that the photo is "too revealing." The image that was taken down, apparently, was screen grabbed by The Shade Room and posted it again (this time, with a moon emoji covering Safaree Samuels' private part) with the caption: "#PostAndDelete #Safaree out here trying to give #TheGame a run for his money"

The Instagram post, eventually, sparked discussions among fans comparing Nicki Minaj's former and current lovers, Safaree Samuels and Meek Mill, respectively.

One fan (via Inquisitr) took to Twitter commenting that Samuels definitely looks better than Meek Mill, saying: "Safaree looks a hell of a lot better than Meek Mill, so in terms of physique and facial appearance, Nicki downgraded."

"Damn Safaree. I get it Nicki," the same user added.

Some fans, on the other hand, lambasted Samuels saying that his post seems just seeking for attention; while other users appreciated how Samuels work had to tone his body.

Samuels and Minaj had a bitter breakup last year after a 12-year romantic relationship. Minaj was rumored to have cheated Samuels leading to their split.

Recently, reports also surfaced about Samuels filing a lawsuit against Minaj, claiming to be compensated for his contributions for Minaj's successful albums like "The Pink Print," "Pink Friday" and "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded." Samuels also claims to have been part of his ex's hit singles including "Only" with Chris Brown, Drake and Lil Wayne, "Flawless (Remix)" and "Feeling Myself" with Beyonce.

When Minaj won the Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist in the American Music Awards last week, Samuels took to Twitter saying that he deserves to be thanked by Minaj for his contribution. "Heard I won an award. The pen is always mightier than the sword," Samuels posted on Twitter.
