Conor McGregor Recalls Sparring With World's Strongest Man As Fight With Jose Aldo Nears

Conor McGregor vs Jose Aldo fight in UFC 194 is just a few days but that does not mean there is no more time for them to talk about other things.

Take McGrego for example. The Irish mixed martial arts fighter has been going hard in training for his upcoming re-appearance in the octagon. He is also busy giving media something to write about even if they are not completely related to fight with Jose Aldo.

Talking to MMA Junkie, the 27-year-old former Cage Warriors champ denied his fight with "Game of Thrones" star Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson, who is also the strongest man in the world, was staged.

"It was a lot of fun," McGregor said during a media lunch in Los Angeles to promote UFC 194. "That's a big man - 6-foot-9, 400 pounds, and I still folded him up. I was hitting him with some shots - I had to hit him with some shots. He was trying to hit me, as well. People say, 'He was taking it easy.'"

He went on to explain how he downed his opponent with his own style.

"He tried to grab me and tried to pull my head off and I defended - freed the head. I was like, this motherf-cker is so big, I have to start smacking him to the body. ... But I sunk him good. Not even a 'Mountain' can take these shots from me."
